If you use Expression Web 4, and find that you cannot change the hyperlinks on your DWT or any web page, then read the following to learn how to change your hyperlinks.

Alternate method for changing Hyperlinks

1.  Click split view to locate the hyperlink to change in code view. (note:  to easily find the hyperlink you want to change, click on that hyperlink in Design View, then look in Code View, it should be visible now.)

2.  Highlight the text you want to make a hyperlink from.... NOTE:  you must have everything SAVED before doing this step.....or it won't work.

3.  Now look for the hyperlink icon in the common formatting toolbar near the top of the interface. click on it.  This will open the hyperlink dialog box.

4. Create your link by choosing the page as usual.

5.  Click ok.

6. save your work.

7.  Double check to make sure the link has actually changed!!!

If you have questions, post them here.

thanks

There is another way to deal with stubborn hyperlinks that will not change when you edit them.

You can "Remove" the hyperlink, then create it again, but this time with the new link.

How to Remove a Hyperlink in Expression Web

1.  right-click on the hyperlink in question.

2.  choose hyperlink properties

3.  in the dialog window that opens, click Remove Hyperlink.

4.  Save your work.

Finally, highlight the same text and right click, and create your new hyperlink.

thanks!
